Megabox Supply - Refund & Return Policy

For Domestic & International Orders

1. General Return Eligibility & Timeframe

1.1. You may request a return for eligible items within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date.

1.2. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Required: You must contact our customer support team at info@megaboxsupply.com or (888)565-9483 to explain the reason for the return and request an RMA number before shipping any item back. Returns received without a valid RMA number clearly marked on the package exterior may be refused or significantly delayed.

1.3. Item Condition is Crucial: To be eligible for return, items must meet the following condition standards upon receipt back at our facility:

* New Parts: Must be in their original, unused, uninstalled, unmodified condition, and suitable for resale as new. This includes being in the original packaging (if applicable) with all original components, accessories, manuals, and documentation intact.

* Reconditioned / Used Parts: Reconditioned / Used parts are eligible for return only if found to be significantly not as described or functionally defective within [Specify timeframe, e.g., 14 days] of receipt, subject to our verification. Returns for other reasons (e.g., ordered wrong part) are generally not accepted for used items, or may be subject to approval at our sole discretion and a higher restocking fee (See Section 6).

1.4. Items that are damaged due to customer misuse, improper handling, attempted installation, negligence, alteration, or are missing parts are not eligible for a refund.

1.5. Special Conditions for Electronic Components:

* Electronic components (e.g., motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, circuit boards, power supplies) are highly sensitive to installation variables, handling, and electrical conditions.

* All returned electronic components claimed as defective, non-functional, or unsuitable will undergo mandatory inspection and testing by Megabox Supply technicians or designated third-party specialists.

* Eligibility for refund, credit, or warranty replacement is VOID if inspection determines that the component failure or damage resulted from factors including, but not limited to:

* Improper installation, wiring, or connection.

* Application of incorrect voltage, current, or signal type.

* Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) damage due to improper handling.

* Physical damage (e.g., impact, liquid exposure, contamination), misuse, abuse, or neglect after delivery.

* Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repair attempts.

* Operation outside of specified environmental parameters (e.g., temperature, humidity, vibration).

* Software or programming errors introduced by the user.

* If customer-induced damage or misuse is identified as the cause of failure, the return/warranty claim will be denied. The item will not be refunded or replaced, and it may be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

* Megabox Supply strongly recommends that installation of all electronic components be performed only by experienced and qualified technical personnel, strictly following all manufacturer specifications, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.

2. Return Process & Responsibilities

2.1. Initiating a Return: Contact customer support (info@megaboxsupply.com / (888)565-9483 with your order details and reason for return to request an RMA.

2.2. Approval & Instructions: Our team will review your request based on this policy. If approved, we will issue an RMA number and provide return shipping instructions.

2.3. Inspection: All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt to verify eligibility and condition according to Section 1.

2.4. Refund Issuance: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, subject to deductions outlined in this policy (See Sections 3 & 4).

3. Return Shipping Costs & Responsibility

3.1. Seller Error (Defective / Incorrect Item Received): If the return is necessary due to an error on Megabox Supply's part (e.g., we shipped the wrong item, or the item is confirmed defective upon arrival and meets conditions in 1.5 if applicable), we will cover the reasonable cost of standard return shipping. We will provide instructions, which may include a prepaid shipping label or arranging freight pickup at our discretion.

3.2. Customer Reason (Ordered Wrong Part / No Longer Needed / Changed Mind / etc.): If the return is for any reason other than seller error:

* You (the customer) are responsible for all return shipping costs. This includes freight charges, insurance, and tracking.

* International Returns: For returns from outside the USA, you are also responsible for any and all applicable customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges associated with exporting the item from your country and importing it back into the USA. Megabox Supply will not cover these charges.

* We strongly recommend using a trackable and adequately insured shipping method. We are not responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit.

3.3. Original Shipping Costs are Non-Refundable: Please note that the original shipping and handling charges paid on your order are not refundable, unless the return is due to seller error (See 3.1). Any duties, taxes, or fees paid for the initial import into your country are also non-refundable by Megabox Supply.

4. Restocking Fees

4.1. Returns initiated due to customer reason (See Section 3.2) for eligible items are subject to inspection and a restocking fee based on the item's condition and purchase price:

* New Items: A restocking fee of 15% applies.

* Reconditioned / Used Items (if eligible for return per Section 1.3/6): A restocking fee of 20% applies.

4.2. This fee covers the costs associated with processing, inspecting, testing, and repackaging the returned item.

4.3. The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

4.4. [Note: Decide if you want to include the optional clause below. Delete the clause or this note.] This fee may be waived at our discretion if you place a replacement order of equal or greater value at the time the RMA is issued.

4.5. Returns due to confirmed seller error (See 3.1) are not subject to restocking fees.

5. Refund Processing Time

5.1. Once the returned item(s) are received and pass inspection (including any specific testing for electronic components as per 1.5), please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to be processed. Processing may take longer if extensive testing is required.

5.2. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

6. Specific Policies for Used Parts

Used parts may be returned only under specific warranty conditions (if offered) or if significantly misrepresented. Warranty returns require troubleshooting with our support team and an RMA and are subject to inspection per Section 1.5 if electronic. Returns for ordering errors may be considered case-by-case within 14 days and subject to the 20% restocking fee (See 4.1), with the customer bearing all shipping costs.

7. Non-Refundable Items & Costs

7.1. The following are generally non-refundable:

* Original shipping, handling, and insurance costs (unless return is due to seller error).

* International duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.

* Items returned without a valid RMA number.

* Items not meeting the condition requirements (See Section 1.3).

* Electronic components determined to be damaged due to customer misuse or improper installation (See Section 1.5).

* Used parts sold "AS-IS" (if applicable per your chosen policy).

* Customized or special-order products.

* Gift cards or promotional vouchers.

8. Changes to the Refund Policy

8.1. Megabox Supply reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time without prior notice.

8.2. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.

9. Agreement

By purchasing products from Megabox Supply, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Refund & Return Policy, including the special conditions for electronic components.
